SSRI

Hailing from the centre of Poland, Sandra Mikołajczyk and Igor Gadomski (aka SSRI) inhabit the deepest darkest crevices of the dub spectrum, submerging their murky reggae-influenced rhythms in waterlogged electronics and dank reverb. Their nautical fusion is inspired by Łódź's distinctive industrial sound, but that's only a starting point as they sail out through a sea of filtered breaks and bleary-eyed ambient textures. The duo released their eponymous debut album on Łódź's own Pointless Geometry earlier this year and currently co-host a regular show at Radio Kapital inspired by the mental states that informed the band's conception.
