A resident of Warsaw's Jasna1 and the co-founder of local collectives Narocz13 and Zejście, DJ and producer Some Guest takes a refreshingly open-minded approach to the dancefloor. His early releases oozed through the hardcore continuum, picking up ideas from jungle, breakbeat, garage and hard drum, but on his last album, January's sweaty 'Motorolla Mixtape', he cracks his knuckles and offers his own take on Latin Tek, fusing woody, hard-swung percussive loops with thick, trap-inspired basslines and cavernous techno thumps.
