Maya Baklanova

Maya Baklanova was involved in communication and co-curation at Cxema, a leading Ukrainian independent cultural organisation renowned for its large-scale rave events, and led communications at Kyiv's ∄ (K41) cultural venue, a prominent space for contemporary arts. She contributes to both online and offline music and social activities, including her role as co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Tight platform for contemporary music and visual art. Additionally, Maya co-curated the ХІТЬ queer-party series, which fosters inclusive spaces for artistic expression. Amidst the ongoing russian invasion, she is dedicated to opposing russian propaganda and influence in the arts and music.
