Małgorzata Halber

Born in 1979 in Warsaw, Małgorzata Halber is a Polish writer, artist, activist, and representative of the “new sincerity” trend. She completed her studies in philosophy at the University of Warsaw and has also studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her works were exhibited by the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw and the Ethnographic Museum in Wrocław. In 2020, alongside Paweł Żukowski, Halber created the Zbędne życia (Spare Lives) exhibition, utilising only items found by dustbins. She lives in Warsaw and Zakroczym. Cyranka will publish her third book, Hałas (Noise), in November 2024.
