Ka Baird with Henry Fraser, Artur Majewski and Paulina Woś

Since their early days performing with experimental ensemble Spires That In The Sunset Rise, New York-based vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Ka Baird has tirelessly expanded their scope, reaching into the outer boundaries of sound by fusing art, performance and ritual. Their last album, 'Bearings: Soundtracks for the Bardos', is a dramatic meditation on the cycle of life and death that represents states of suspension with virtuosic instrumental flurries, stark minimalist electronics and intoxicating vocals. And for this specially commissioned live show, Baird will appear alongside bassist Henry Fraser (who also contributed to 'Bearings'), Wrocław-based trumpet player and composer Artur Majewski and Paulina Woś.
