DADA DO’S AND DON'TS

What was Dada and what might it be still? A brief survey of the storied art movement will consider how Dadaism can be interpreted and extrapolated in a present era that is disquietingly aligned with the fractious early-20th-century world in which Dada took hold. What is different and what remains the same? In music and art, is it still possible to shock and disrupt as the Dada movement did – or does the accelerated weirdness of 2023 make that impossible?
