Tobias Koch

Splitting his time between Basel and Berlin, sound artist and composer Tobias Koch is best known for his ambitious site-specific performances, where he endeavors to expose the invisible connections between space and sound. He's exhibited and performed his work at Berlin's Trauma Bar, the Leopold Museum in Vienna, CNDParis and Palazzo delle Esposizioni Roma, and scored works presented at Volksbühne Berlin, Tate Modern and Centre Pompidou, and his latest soundtrack for Michael Koch's feature film 'Drii Winter' (A Piece of Sky) is Switzerland's official submission to this year's Academy Awards.
