Afro-Portugese producer and DJ Nídia plays a pivotal role in Lisbon's lively kuduro scene. Since 2014, she's developed a canon that's put her at the forefront of the genre, releasing a slew of EPs and albums for the Príncipe label and performing exhaustively across the globe. She won a Swedish Grammy for her provocative production work on Fever Ray's acclaimed 'Plunge' full-length, and has fashioned remixes Yaeji, Kelela and Lafawndah, the latter of which netted her Best Independent Remix at UK's AIM Awards.
