Lyra Pramuk

Berlin-based Lyra Pramuk makes modern devotional music, using her voice to resonate through her diverse musical and life experiences. Growing up in Pennsylvania singing in choirs, she later explored an academic path while simultaneously being drawn to the experimental pop of Missy Elliot, Laurie Anderson and Björk, eventually immersing herself in Berlin's club scene. She joins Ignota Book’s Susanna Davies-Crook and Sarah Shin at this year's Unsound Kraków to present three journeys as a planet in the form of a body, or a body in the form of a planet, tracking these movements with sonic choreographies and games to question the boundaries between the internal and external.
