Jennifer Walshe

Born in Dublin, Jennifer Walshe is one of Ireland's most celebrated composers, having received a slew of international prizes and had her pieces performed around the world. Walshe has worked with Apartment House, Alter Ego, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Ascolta, Crash Ensemble and many others, and also performs as an improviser and vocalist, specializing in extended technique. In recent years she's worked with AI extensively, developing an AI version of herself with Memo Atken, and using AI tech to rework the early music canon on her third album 'Tetblind', that was released in 2020 to significant acclaim.
