Description
This second late night event features an array of artists blurring dance music and experimental scenes.
Kenya’s Slikback appears in Main Bubble to present Void, a blistering new commissioned A/V work with UK’s Weirdcore; ‘genre splicing genius’ Loraine James will present a unique sound that draws on drill, IDM and jungle; Eris Drew will also present a rare live A/V show in the wake of her joyous album Quivering in Time, teaming up with visual artist Jeisson Drenth. Percussionists Valentina Magaletti and João Pais Filipe will perform a powerful centre-of-the-room-set blurring minimalism, jazz, no wave and polyrhythmic club music. DJ sets include Warsaw’s madikoptah, London’s Yung Singh, New York’s DJ SWISHA and local favourites Eltron and Charlie playing b2b.
Side Bubble features Prague experimental musician Ursula Sereghy, Warsaw’s KRENZ with his deconstructed take on dubstep, hip-hop and jungle, and mutant bass innovator Amazondotcom. Longtime Unsound partner Nyege Nyege presents Durban gqom trio Phelimuncasi with their vivid vocals over dark brooding beats. Colombian Florentino follows, and then Slim Soledad, a multidisciplinary artist from Brazil, both playing DJ sets. Ukrainians Diana Azzuz and Rina Priduvalova, from Kyiv’s Standard Deviation imprint, end the night with a b2b set.
