DEFLATION

Two intimate afternoon shows in the city’s former Central Post Office. Playing on nothing more than a double bass, Poland’s Ksawery Wójciński’s solo performances are minimalist, yet emotional and deeply engaging. Described as ‘traditional Norwegian microtonal dance music’, duo Naaljos Ljom employs synthesiser, modified electric guitar, mouth harp and langeleik – a zither-like instrument – to reinterpret Norwegian folk forms in unexpected ways.
