DJ SWISHA

Part of the Los Angeles-rooted Juke Bounce Werk collective - a crew of like-minded artists including Jae Drago, DJ Noir and Kush Jones who have trained their ears on uptempo, bass-heavy dancefloor sounds - DJ SWISHA has become widely known in the last few years for his wormhole-piercing, cross-genre productions and sets. Initially recording as Swisha Sweet, the Philly-born, LA-raised artist made waves with a run of box-fresh footwork constructions, edits and Jersey club bangers released on his own Bandcamp page. After a jerky roll of collaborations (with Kush Jones, DIYR, OSSX and others), and a non-stop touring schedule, the NYC-based polymath has built up a firm reputation for his ability to blur the lines between hip-hop, footwork, house and jungle.
