T'ien Lai is a Polish experimental quartet belonging to Kuba Ziołek's (Stara Rzeka, Alameda 5) "magic brutalism" network of projects. It started out as a duo focused on drones and radio transmissions, with mystical themes hidden behind the layers of noise. Since then, T'ien Lai has acquired two percussionists and expanded the rhythmic elements present in their sound into highly ritualistic dance music. They appeared at Unsound 2015 as a surprise act.
