Richie Hawtin is one of the most successful electronic musicians in history, who seamlessly went from the Detroit underground to Ibiza stardom. Starting in the late 80s as a teenage DJ, he later produced under the influential aliases F.U.S.E., Concept 1 and Plastikman, becoming an important figure in minimal techno circles, championing new technologies and pushing forward his DJing style. As M_nus label owner, he launched careers, reached new places and his profile grew expontentially. He appeared at Unsound 2015 with a surprise show in Room 2 at Hotel Forum, with a completely new A/V concept called “Closer”, which allows the audience to better see his mixing techniques as a DJ.
