Nazar is a young Angolan producer. Inverting the formula of kuduro - music that is usually upbeat and cheerful - he has produced his own “rough kuduro” to explore the rawness and violence of war. His recent Nihil release is reaction to the Angolan government, its brutal crackdown of dissent and growing propaganda in public spaces.
