"Concealed" is an Unsound-commissioned project that brings together the UK's Demdike Stare with musicians from Krakow's Sinfonietta Cracovia playing string pieces composed especially by Danny Norbury. The resulting music references a variety of Demdike influences, from lush Morricone-style movie scores to jungle and noise. Michael England's stunning live video completes the work, exploring urban decay, bleak English landscapes and Japanese dance / mythology, to tell a story that lies enticingly just out of grasp. Acclaimed Warsaw-based artist Anna Zaradny will open, with her precise and gradually building hypnotic soundscapes.
