One of the founding members of Napalm Death, a band credited with pionerring grindcore, and later a member of Scorn with Mick Harriss, Nicholas Bullen has enjoyed a long carreer full of collaborations and genre bending. Over the years he has ventured further into the territory of sound art, and after various installations, works for radio and live collaborations, Bullen recently released his debut solo album on Type. Called “Component Fixations”, it is based on tape manipulations of field recordings made around his house.
