Specialising in natural history, Chris Watson is one of the best known field recordists in the world. He has worked with David Attenborough and the BBC for years, and released acclaimed solo works. “Whispering in The Leaves” uses recordings to recreate the rainforests of South and Central America, shifting between dawn and dusk, each filled with a rich tapestry of sound created by creatures native to these landscapes. As a form of subtle interference, the work is installed in the greenhouse in the Krakow Botanical Gardens, celebrating its 230th anniversary this year. After the opening, you can visit this work from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. as part of a visit to the Botanical Garden (cost: 6 PLN).
