For many years Christelle Gualdi has made hardware-based ambient music. Recently she opened a new chapter in her career by staying true to an analogue sound, yet moving into the realm of the dancefloor, a journey that began after she acquired a Roland TB-303. After a small show at Unsound in 2011, this is Stellar Om Source’s second visit to Krakow’s Unsound Festival, and will explore her take on club music, as captured on this year’s “Joy One Mile”. Produced with Kassem Mosse and released by RVNG, this LP explores techno, electro, house and machine-funk.
