Toby Heys and Steve Goodman run AUDINT, a research cell investigating how ultrasonic, sonic
and infrasonic frequencies are used to demarcate territory in soundscapes, and ways in which
their martial and civil deployments modulate psychological, physiological and architectural
states. As a companion piece to their installation at Unsound, Heys and Goodman present
AUDINT’s history - since its formation by three members of the Ghost Army in 1945 – as a live
multi-media presentation.
