Margaret Chardiet’s provocative industrial noise project Pharmakon is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year with a newfound focus and the question of “what is means to be human?”. Her latest music composed for the excellent album “Contact” is structured around four stages of trance - preparation, onset, climax and resolution - in an attempt to recreate the energy/empathy exchange that has always been at the heart of a her intense live performances.
