MSYLMA’s Dhil-un Taht Shajarat Al-Zaqum is one of the most striking debuts in recent memory. Inspired by pre-Islamic and quranic poetry, the Saudi Arabian artist sings about coming of age, while musically drawing from the very contemporary sounds of r&b, club music and experimental electronic music. In a world premiere, he will be joined by Egyptians Zuli and Karim El Ghazoly, while Czech-based Omar El Sadek will perform visuals.
