Oklou creates pop music for the Internet age, blending URL and IRL sounds with club minimalism, making ambience a key aspect of her work. Sampling both Instagram Stories and her environment, she creates nostalgic atmospheres. Her most recent EP The Rites of May was released by the futuristic NUXXE collective from London, and features Bok Bok and Sega Bodega. She’s also a part of the Paris DJ squad TGAF – Them Gyals Are on Fire.
