MORNING GLORY 2 ٩(ˊ〇ˋ)و

Copenhagen-based sound artist and composer Sofie Birch works primarily with synthesisers and field recordings to create ambient and melodic sound collages. Antonina Nowacka works with the voice, treating it as an instrument and examining its relationship to spirituality and the outside world. The two artists first came together for Unsound’s Ephemera Festival in Warsaw, where they played a gorgeous set at 2:00 am as part of the overnight Infinity O’clock show. We enjoyed it so much that we couldn’t resist uniting them for a second time at Unsound, as part of the Morning Glory series.
