Lechuga Zafiro and Pobvio are Uruguayan producers and DJs, founders of Salviatek and close friends of Mexico’s N.A.A.F.I and Argentina’s Hiedrah collectives. Their unique take on local candombe rhythms elevates the Afro-Latin music to completely new levels through heavy sci-fi and biotechnologic aesthethics, as well as contemporary club production. C1080 is one of the most important “comparsas” from Uruguay’s candombe culture. A legacy of 5 generations of drummers, they are talented and eclectic players that not only limit themselves to the candombe rhythm, but master also other afro-influenced drumming styles. They all play together in a collaborative effort named F5.
