Tom Ellard is the key member of Severed Heads, Australian icons of industrial music and one of the most creative and interesting groups of the 80s. Constantly interested in new technologies and evolving his practice, Ellard launched “Hauntology House” in 2013, a video game he regards as an album. He continues to explore new possibilities, particularly in regard to virtual reality. Apart from appearing with Severed Heads and giving an artist talk, Tom will launch an online installation during Unsound called “Treasure Map 2”, dealing with location/dislocation.
