Lao is a DJ and producer involved in the Mexican NAAFI collective, one of the leading new forces in contemporary club music, pushing club sounds forward with their “peripherical rhythms”. He’s been playing music since early 2000s, and has become a staple of the local scene thanks to his focus on recontextualizing pop music with new local sounds. Lao’s also behind the no gender, no border Internet label Extasis.
