“Bedouin Trax” is the latest project from Lakker’s Ian McDonnell aka Eomac, drawing on recordings of Moroccan street music, songs from Baghdad, Islamic music from India and Sufi ceremonial tunes, provided by Dubai’s Bedouin Records. To create an album and a live show, Eomac spent a year in the studio, blending disparate aesthethics together, seeking to find ways we are all deeply connected and what it means to be human, while making beautiful and ecstatic leftfield dance music. His appearance at Unsound 2016 will be a live premiere of the project, with visuals by sYn.
