The second Unsound Adelaide club night also contrasts different genres, with classic sounds alongside the dance music of tomorrow. Sweden’s Varg is rooted in the starkly cold ambient techno music of Northern Electronics, but his ever-growing sound blends melancholy with dark humour. Errorsmith follows hot on the heels of his brand new album Superlative Fatigue for PAN, presenting ecstatic and highly energetic rhythms. Closing the night is White Material’s DJ Richard, who will keep up the tempo, steering us into a raw and analogue techno set. Opening is Melbourne artist CORIN, another local eschewing genre boundaries.
