Margaret Chardiet’s provocative industrial noise project Pharmakon is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year with a newfound focus. The music composed for the excellent 2017 album Contact is structured around four stages of trance - preparation, onset, climax and resolution - in an attempt to recreate the energy/empathy exchange that has always been at the heart of a her intense live performances. Her exclusive Unsound Adelaide appearance will be the first time she brings her crushing sound to Australia.
