Napszyklat
Polish rap/post-rock/glitch band Napszyklat hail from Poznan and are the type of experimental band that is always searching for its own style. Taking in a challenging and very diverse range of inspirations they've slowly grown into one of the most exciting, yet still under-rated acts in the Polish scene.
They've recorded three albums. The last one - Kultur Shock - came out in June 2011. Reviewers commented, "Every track gives you a clash between loud western culture and undefined central and east Europe. That’s the culture shock. Humbling, synth buzzing, vinyl crack, field recording of non existing places sings and undefined Hip Hop verses."
The band has toured extensively including dates in the UK, Germany, France, Czechoslovakia, Slovakia, Ukraine and now for the first time New York.
