Bartosz Zaskórski
Born 1987 in Żytno. In his artistic practice he focuses on drawing, recording audio dramas and creating objects referring to horror movies from the 80's. A PhD candidate at Academy of Fine Arts, Cracow (tutor: prof. Dariusz Vasina). He works at Pedagogical University of Cracow, where he leads the authorial Audio Studio. Bartosz Zaskórski collaborates with Piktogram Gallery in Warsaw (Poland).
His works were presented, among the others, in CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw; BWA Bielsko-Biała; BWA Tarnów; BWA Bunkier Sztuki, Cracow; CAC, Vilnius; Plato, Ostrava. Artist's works in the collections of CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw; Zachęta Naional Art Gallery, Szczecin. As a musician, he usually plays sad, dance music. As Mchy i porosty (Mosses and Lichens) he released music on Recognition Records, Brutaż, Transatlantyk, Kikimora Tapes and Pointless Geometry. His two audio cassettes with radio dramas: Villages (2015), And Then It Occurred That I Had Died (2016) were released on BDTA label. His latest album will come out on Not Not Fun.
