German visual artist MFO aka Marcel Weber is one of Unsound’s long-time collaborators, involved in many special and commissioned projects, including the Unsound-produced Ephemera series of live shows and installations. Now he’s working on the next phase of Ephemera, designing the lighting for Foris, a multichannel installation/performance including field recordings of selected habitats from across the planet by Chris Watson, interconnected with the olfactory concept of a forest created by perfumer Geza Schoen. MFO is also responsible for the overall lighting at Unsound.
