Warhol Series 4 - Amos Poe's Empire II
Empire II has been called a “tone-poem meditation on the city of our dreams”; in it, legendary No Wave filmmaker Amos Poe remakes Warhol’s original film into what looks like a three-hour music video with New York City as the star. The whole film was shot over a year from a window of Poe’s West Village apartment.
